Purpose built

The Argyle Bio Filter is designed for any multi unit residential or commercial development that need to meet planning requirements for stormwater management such as Clause 56.07 for residential subdivisions and developments within inner city Councils. The modular design allows it to expand to fit various sized developments and landscaping formats including above-ground or in-ground installations..

Scalable

Each module provides 1.3m2 of treatment area and will satisfy the filtration requirements of approximately
200m2 of hard surface / roof area. The units can be daisy chained and scaled to suit any sized development.

Supplied costs include a 2 year maintenance contract to ensure the viability of the filter during the critical establishment period.

Aesthetic

When used in-ground the top section (180mm) will remain visible. It is finished in a stone look and needs no other treatment.

For above ground use, the modules come with jarrah or steel cladding supports.
Optional edge rails, front panels, and joining bridges are available to hide joins or plumbing.

Accessories

  • Steel joining bridge – Corten (rust ) version shown here
  • Millboard (vintage) edge rail
  • Textured front panel

Customisable

Bridge pieces, rails, plinths, and panels can be customised to suit the landscape style. In this case stackstone and bluestone have been added to a classic front panel. Where a less formal look is required standard cladding can be screwed directly to the support members.

Dimensions and Technical

The unit has been designed to fit a standard 900mm landscaping grid. Depending upon the cladding chosen, above ground unit widths may vary. Standard unit length is 1500mm plus plumbing fittings and capping. For in-ground use the distribution plenum would normally sit 180mm above ground.

Optional float valve allows it to be used within a charged downpipe system with upstream buffer tank and bypass overflow.
